Caesar’s Footprints exuberantly marches around France and Britain with the Roman legions, vividly bringing the formation of a shared European identity to life. It pulls no punches on the shocking /5(11). Good book. However the title is hardly accurate considering Caesar hardly had time to build any roads during his couple of failed attempts to gain a foothold in the Britannia.
